Retrieve the source of the visitor using AJAX

If a visitor from website B sends an AJAX request to my website A, can I determine the IP address or domain name of the site they are coming from?

Answer №1

When it comes to AJAX calls, they function just like default calls except for the fact that they do not reload the entire web page.

The possibilities with an AJAX call are endless.

It's important to note that there is no correlation between making an AJAX call and detecting an IP address.
