Issue with timebox filtering in customapp.js for Rally SDK 2

I am interested in creating a timebox filtered app and found an example at

However, when attempting to run this on a custom HTML page, I encountered the following error:

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) on the file

What steps can I take to resolve or work around this issue?

Answer №1

Have you created an app using Rally App Builder? If so, it's important to ensure that your actual app class name matches what is specified in the config.json file.

//Check your app.js file...
Ext.define('My.Custom.App', {
    //app definition here
});

//config.json
{
    "className": "My.Custom.App"
}

After confirming that the class names match, rebuild your app to resolve any issues.

If you are manually launching your app in the HTML file, make sure you have the correct class name in the Rally.launchApp call:

 Rally.launchApp('My.Custom.App');
