Instructions on adding an activity indicator in a centered box with a loader inside

I'm currently working on integrating an Activity Indicator into my Vue Native App, but I've been facing some issues as it doesn't seem to be displaying the Activity Indicator properly.

Here is the code snippet I've tried:

<AbsoluteLayout height="100%" width="100%">
    <ActivityIndicator class="indicator" :busy="isLoading" :visibility=" isLoading ? 'visible' : 'collapse'" row="1" horizontalAlignment="center" verticalAlignment="center"></ActivityIndicator>
    <ActivityIndicator :busy="isLoading" horizontalAlignment="center" verticalAlignment="center" :visibility="isLoading? 'visible':'collapse'"></ActivityIndicator>
</AbsoluteLayout>

Answer №1

Make sure to verify your isLoading variable, as it may not be toggling to true

Answer №2

<StackLayout orientation="vertical">
    <ActivityIndicator class="loading-indicator" busy="true" visibility="visible" horizontalAlignment="center" verticalAlignment="center" />
</StackLayout>

However, when attempting to make it responsive and dynamic, the loader fails to fill the screen properly during loading.

Answer №3

It is recommended to utilize GridLayout instead of AbsoluteLayout in this scenario. If you encounter any difficulties, feel free to share your complete code or a Playground sample.
