I am experiencing difficulties with a basic Angular JS application as it is not functioning as expected and

My Angular JS application seems to be having some issues. I have the following code structure with Index.js as the main file and controller.js as a script file.

However, when I try to run the app, no errors are displayed in the browser:

var app = angular.module('myApp',[]);
app.controller('myCtrl',function($scope){
    $scope.name="Angad";
});
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html ng-app="myApp">
<head>
    <meta charset="utf-8" />
    <title>Welcome</title>
</head>
<body ng-controller="myCtrl">
    <nav>Navigation</nav>
    <div ng-controller="myCtrl">
        <input type="text" ng-model="name">
        <h1>{{name}}</h1>
    </div>
    <footer>Copyright-2017</footer>
  <script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/angularjs/1.2.23/angular.min.js"></script>
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/2.1.1/jquery.min.js"></script>
</body>
</html>

Answer №1

This issue arises from the script loading statement

Modify it to be

<script src="js/angular.min.js"></script>
<script src="js/controller.js"></script>

Answer №2

An AngularJS application that functions without requiring a web server. Your demonstration is also successful.

Simply remember to close the script tag correctly.

<script src="js/angular.min.js"></script>
<script src="js/controller.js"></script>
