An error has occurred in the callback function for the watcher "function () { return this._data.$$state }": "Error: [vuex] It is forbidden to modify the vuex store state outside of a mutation"

Here is a screenshot of the error I encountered in the console

This is the method that I am using

The issue seems to be happening in mounted

I have also included MapState in the Computed section

While my code is currently functional, I am puzzled by this particular error and have not been able to find a solution. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Answer №1

The reason for this issue is that state is being modified outside of mutations, leading to potential problems:

this.systemstatus.splice(i, 1)

To resolve this, you can create a copy of systemstatus using the spread operator like so:

const systemStatusCopy = [...this.systemstatus]

This will prevent errors from occurring, although it will not update the actual state. If you do need to update the store's state, make sure to define and commit a mutation when necessary.
