What is the method for deactivating a form input field in Angular Formly?

Is there a specific way to disable a form input field using Angular Formly? I have tried searching online and cannot find a clear answer. Even after checking Formly's 'field configuration docs', I only found one mention of the word 'disable' on that page, and it doesn't seem to be related to actually disabling the field. Could I be overlooking something?

Answer №1

To implement the feature where a field is disabled, I utilized the `disabled` option within the `templateOptions`. Here's an example of how I included this in my form setup:

{
    key: 'username',
    type: 'text',
    templateOptions: {
        label: 'Username',
        disabled: true,
        required: false
    }
}

Answer №2

Issue with functionality Please review the form below formData.Data.push({ ItemName: key, // disabled: false, Value: value.toString(), templateOptions: { disabled: true, } });
