What is the method for adjusting the amount of rows shown in ng-grid?

As I leverage ng-grid for data presentation, I notice that approximately 10 rows are visible before the vertical scrollbar appears and conceals the remaining data. Is there a way to adjust the threshold for when the vertical scrollbar kicks in?

Answer №1

The total grid height will depend on the values set for rowHeight and headerHeight in your grid.

Assuming default values of 30px for both, you can adjust the grid height in the CSS by adding 2px for borders:

.gridStyle {
    border: 1px solid rgb(212,212,212);
    width: 400px;
    height: 482px
}

Make sure to disable overflow for the viewport with the following CSS:

.ngViewport {
    min-height: 20px;
    overflow: visible;
}

Is this what you were looking for?

Check out the demo here with 15 rows, resulting in a grid height of 482px (15x30px rows + 30px header + 2px borders).
