What causes the zoom effect on a flat surface when using reflection mesh in three.js, and what steps can be taken to fix it

Upon reviewing the example at , it is apparent that the reflection of the sphere remains true to scale when compared to the flat square. However, an illusion may occur where it appears as though the reflection is magnified.

I attempted to adjust the parameters of the mirrorCubeCamera object, but the scale did not change as expected.

A similar phenomenon was observed in the official example found at

If anyone has any insights or suggestions on this matter, I would greatly appreciate them. Thank you

This portrayal doesn't actually reflect reality; it's more of an artistic interpretation. The method employed in this instance is known as cube mapping, a precise technique used for approximation.
