What are the recommended methods or examples for implementing a scheduling calendar using JavaScript?

Here's a question that may be open to interpretation, and a red warning banner suggests it might be closed, but I'm not sure where else to turn for answers.

I need an extremely lightweight display-only scheduling calendar for my application. Essentially, I'm looking for something similar to Google Calendar where you can easily view appointments for a few days or a month at a time.

In addition, the calendar must have reliable information on various holidays.

It doesn't seem like something I should create myself, as there are likely existing solutions out there. I'm especially concerned about accurately accounting for holidays if I decide to build it from scratch.

Any recommendations for an existing product or library that fits these requirements?

Our team successfully integrated a Google calendar into our application, although we acknowledge that some developers may encounter branding conflicts or desire enhanced integration with their own applications.
