Vue.js fails to properly display mustache expressions

My vue.js code doesn't seem to be making any changes on my website. How can I resolve this issue?

const selector = new Vue({
  el: '#example',
  data: {
    question: 'How did the event go?',
    selectorValue: '',
    buttonClicked = 'lorem ipsum'
  }
})
<div id="example" class="section">
    <p class="question">{{ question }}</p>
</div>

Answer №1

In the code snippet, buttonClicked = 'lorem ipsum' needs to be changed to buttonClicked: 'lorem ipsum'
