Utilizing Odoo Point of Sale feature on product selection

Can someone help me identify the function that is triggered when a product is clicked on at the point of sale? I am looking to add some code that will automatically apply a discount when a product is added to an order.

Appreciate any assistance!

To implement this feature, all you have to do is extend the ProductListWidget class and its method called click_product_handler(). It can be done as shown below. However, it is important to first examine the method in the base class.

module.ProductListWidget = module.ProductListWidget.extend({
                init: function(parent, options) {
                this._super(parent,options);
                var self = this;
                this.click_product_handler = function(event){
                << Your Code to add discount >>
                }
}
