Use the 'Math.round' function to round a number following a calculation

I'm struggling to make Math.round(num * 100) / 100 work with normal jQuery. Can someone please help?

The following script successfully converts lengths:

<script>
  var meters = document.getElementsByClassName("num");
  for (var i = 0; i < meters.length; i++) {
    meters[i].innerHTML = parseInt(meters[i].innerHTML) * 3.2808399;
  }
</script>

<p class="num">12</p>
<p class="num">7</p>

Answer №1

Is it something along those lines? I'm not entirely certain about your intentions....

var values = document.getElementsByClassName("num");
for (var j = 0; j < values.length; j++) {
  values[j].innerHTML = Math.round(parseInt(values[j].innerHTML) * 3.2808399 * 100) / 100
}
<p class="num">20</p>
<p class="num">13</p>
