Transition between different segments

Currently working on a sapui5 fiori app, I find myself utilizing multiple fragments based on the mode (read, create, edit). However, I am stuck on how to smoothly navigate from one fragment to another, and more importantly, how to seamlessly return to the previous fragment. Any assistance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Answer №1

In the routing system, it is not possible to navigate to a fragment directly because the loaded object is expected to be a view rather than a fragment when instantiated with sap.ui.view. To show a fragment, it must first be instantiated and displayed in the 'routeMatched' handler.

For more information, you can refer to the Fragments documentation.
