Tips for managing a window refresh before using Angular

Is there a way to capture the user's action before they refresh the page using F5 or the refresh button so that I can trigger a function to close certain processes?

If you are facing an issue in Angular that requires a solution, consider utilizing the Event $locationChangeStart.

$scope.$on('$locationChangeStart', function (event, next, current) {
     var confirmation = confirm("Do you really want to leave this page?");
     if (!confirmation) {
         event.preventDefault();
     }
});
