There is a function called "count" which takes in two parameters and returns a string. When calling count(0,5), the output would be: "0,1,2,3,4,5". I have only been able to solve this problem by using arrays

function calculateNumbers(input1, input2) {
  let numbersList = [];
  for (let i = input1; i <= input2; i++) {
    numbersList.push(i);
  }
  return numbersList;
}
let generatedNumbers = calculateNumbers(0, 10);
console.log(generatedNumbers);

I am trying to display the list of numbers as a string like 0,1,2,3,4,5. However, I am facing difficulty in converting it from an array. Currently, my output shows as [0,1,2,3,4,5].

Answer №1

Simply combine the elements of the array into a string and have your function return that result.

function sumNumbers(start, end) {
  const numArray = [];
  for (let j = start; j <= end; j++) {
    numArray.push(j);
  }
  return numArray.join(',');
}

const numbers = sumNumbers(0, 5);

console.log(numbers);

Answer №2

Give this a shot:

function tally(start, finish) {
    console.log(Array.from({length: finish-start+1}, (val, key) => key+start).join(","));
}

Answer №3

Creating a function that counts numbers between specified parameters.
