The time on the X-axis is not displayed accurately

I have encountered an issue with the "Time data with irregular intervals" chart I am using. The x-axis data is in epoch time and should range from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. However, the problem is that the Highcharts x-axis labels are displaying a range from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, which is incorrect. Can you help me diagnose the problem? Thank you.

Answer №1

It seems like the 3-hour timerange is suitable, so my guess would be that the issue lies with the Timezone. However, as JamWaffles rightly pointed out: without seeing the code, all we can do is make educated guesses.

Also, what exactly does "15 PM" mean? I assume you are referring to the timeranges 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM and 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

Answer №2

To make sure the values are in UTC, it's important to address the TZ issue pointed out by Fildor. In order to achieve this, the following options should be stipulated:

Highcharts.setOptions({
global: {
    useUTC: true
}
});
