Straight pipe made with tubegeometry

Is it possible to create a straight tube using TubeGeometry?

All the examples I find only show how to make curved tubes.

Answer №1

After reviewing the documentation, I discovered additional parameters that allowed me to customize whether the cylinder was open-ended or not.

Following mrdoob's advice, I also set doubleSided to true in order to avoid the inside of the cylinder appearing blank.

Edit: Apologies for forgetting to demonstrate how I implemented these parameters.

THREE.CylinderGeometry = function ( radiusTop, radiusBottom, height, segmentsRadius, segmentsHeight, openEnded )
