All the examples I find only show how to make curved tubes.

All the examples I find only show how to make curved tubes.
After reviewing the documentation, I discovered additional parameters that allowed me to customize whether the cylinder was open-ended or not.
Following mrdoob's advice, I also set doubleSided to true in order to avoid the inside of the cylinder appearing blank.
Edit: Apologies for forgetting to demonstrate how I implemented these parameters.
