Steps for removing MS Word content when converting to PDF with Pechkin

Our team was tasked with adding print functionality for the companies that our client works with. On the page where they input company information, there is a textarea used to write short descriptions. However, sometimes they copy and paste from MS Word or other sources which can result in strange characters appearing when printed (see screenshot at http://prntscr.com/4oadw3).

We are looking for a way to clean up the pasted content before converting it to PDF. Any help on how to achieve this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Prior to creating the PDF, it is advisable to perform some pre-processing tasks. This can involve encoding any unusual characters correctly or removing them altogether.

Additionally, it is important to verify that the HTML displays correctly in a web browser since WKHTMLTOPDF utilizes WebKit for rendering.

Including the following code snippet in the HTML header may also be beneficial:

<meta charset="utf-8" />
