step-by-step guide on implementing autocomplete using google.maps.places.autocomplete in ExtJS

Just to clarify... I initially wrote a code that was error-free before editing this post. However, after reading a comment on creating a Minimal, Complete, and Verifiable example, I became confused. My minimal script did not work properly, I couldn't provide the complete code due to its complexity, and I lacked a verifiable example.

I am seeking guidance on how to implement autocomplete using google.maps.places to populate my textfield in EXTJS.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

After seeking guidance from @Rob Schmuecker, I successfully resolved this query. This question revolves around the use of a suitable proxy to fetch JSON data from Google, such as:

addressModel.getProxy().setExtraParam('url', 'http://maps.google.com/maps/api/geocode/json?address=' + queryString + '&sensor=false');

To dynamically set the parameters, one can utilize this data model:

addressModel = Ext.define("Addresses", {
    extend: 'Ext.data.Model',
    proxy: {
        type: 'jsonp',
        url: 'https://jsonp.nodejitsu.com',
        reader: {
            type: 'json',
            root: 'results',
            totalProperty: 'totalCount'
        }
    },

    fields: ['formatted_address']
});

Subsequently, a combobox can be created with a listener added to it for each keyup event to trigger the extraparam in the proxy.

After much experimentation, I have come up with a unique solution utilizing the Google Places-Library.

Innovative Approach using Ext JS 3.4

1) Incorporate the Google Places API
2) Develop a customized Proxy (I extended the Ext.data.DataProxy)
2a) Configure the proxy api (read: true)
2b) Override the doRequest method to make calls such as google.maps.PlacesService.textSearch
2c) Manage the Places Request with a custom Reader
3) Store your data in a specialized store
4) Construct a component that retrieves data from the store

It is important to adhere to the Google Maps/Google Earth APIs Terms of Service! (Including proper display of logos and acknowledgment of third party rights)

And there you have my innovative solution!
