Seeking tooltips using only javascript

I’m reaching out because I am searching for a simple script that creates tooltips using pure javascript, without the use of jQuery or other libraries.

There are very few options available online, and most of them are outdated or not exactly what I’m looking for, like the example found here:

I specifically want a tooltip created with pure javascript and without any movement effects, similar to Twitter or Facebook tooltips.

If anyone can provide me with a link to a suitable tooltip or tutorial, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you in advance, and please excuse any language errors, English is not my first language as I am from Argentina.

I hope someone can assist me with this request.

For those who enjoy using the Twitter tooltips, here's some good news - they are actually open source! You can find them within the Twitter Bootstrap library. With a bit of tweaking, you should be able to customize them to function without jQuery.
