Navigating with Google Maps version 3 directions

Currently in the process of creating a new Google maps feature for my website, moving away from using v2. Everything has been smooth sailing up until the final step...after requesting directions on the map, there should be a visual line indicating the route. However, this blue line is not appearing on my map despite numerous attempts to troubleshoot. Any advice or suggestions would be immensely helpful! If anyone is interested in seeing the script in action: Thank you in advance! Chris

Answer №1

element, it is advised to generate the map only once instead of doing so twice. Initially, establish the map where you intend to outline the route and subsequently load a new map that replaces the initial one. To resolve this issue, focus on creating just a single map-object.
