Looking for assistance in setting a new initial state for a javascript toggle on page load

Need assistance with customizing the Youtube-TV JS plugin for a client website? The current setup loads the player with a playlist in an open state, but the requirement is to load it with the toggle closed, displaying the array of playlists instead. If you can help out with this customization, please check out my codepen for the player here.

    (function(win, doc) {
    'use strict';
    var apiKey = 'AIzaSyAFMzeux_Eu933wk5U8skMzUzA-urgVgsY';
    var YTV = YTV || function(id, opts){

        // JavaScript code goes here

}).call(this, window, document);

Answer №1

Revise this

list += '<div class="ytv-list-header">';

to

list += '<div class="ytv-list-header ytv-playlist-open">';

There are two types of playlists available: one is the "list of all playlists" and the other is the "list of videos in a playlist". When you include "ytv-playlist-open", it signifies that the "list of all playlists" is open. By adding this, it will close the "videos in a playlist" section and display the desired "list of all playlists".
