Looking for a way to upgrade the Ionic library in my project from version 1.3.1 to 1.3.5. Unfortunately, the ionic lib update feature isn't doing the job

Updating the Ionic library in my project has become a challenge. Whenever I attempt to use 'ionic lib update', an error message pops up:

    This command has been deprecated.  All resources are currently available in NPM and we recommend that you use NPM to manage these.
