JavaScript 3D Arrays

Is there a way to create a 3D array similar to runes['red'][0]['test']?

If so, how can I accomplish this?

    var runes = {}

runes['red'] = [
    'test': ['loh']
]
runes['blue'] = {}
runes['yellow'] = {}

I appreciate any help. Thank you.

Answer №1

If you're looking for a structure that includes an array with objects, it can be represented in the following way:

runes["red"] = [
    {attribute: "loh"},
    {additionalAttribute: "anotherLoh"}
]

Answer №2

let magics = {}; // Object containing magical entities

magics.blue = [ // Array of Objects representing blue magic
  {'spell': 'water'},     // 0
  {'spell': 'wind'},    // 1
  {power: "strength", element: "fire"}  // 2...
];

alert( magics.blue[1].spell ); // wind
