Is there a way to selectively disable the beforeRouteLeave in Vue.js for certain scenarios, or alternatively, activate it only under specific conditions?

Utilizing beforeRouteLeave to display a warning during screen transitions, however, it triggers in all cases within that specific URL.

I am specifically interested in making it function only when importing a file within that URL (while the progress bar is active). If there is an algorithm that can restrict its functionality to only occur during the import process and not affect the entire URL, please advise.

If you possess any pertinent information, kindly share it with me.

Answer №1

Resolved on its own. If there is a clear variable that signifies a particular stage, conditional branching with the utilization of that variable allows for functionality in a specific scenario.
