Answer №1

Is it possible to continue using this?

Absolutely, as long as it remains on the npm registry. You also have the option to fork it and create your own copy. Even though it's deprecated, it just means that it's no longer actively maintained.

You might consider transitioning to tsParticles and specifically react-tsparticles, following the suggestion in the react-particles-js repository.

Answer №2

Outdated packages are still functional and can be utilized, with npm usually retaining all released versions unless a security flaw is discovered. Nonetheless, the decision to deprecate a package signifies that its developer will no longer maintain it, suggesting users switch to an alternative package.
