Implement a unique custom mobile menu in place of the traditional WordPress default menu

Greetings! I've embarked on the journey of crafting a personalized WordPress theme using Understrap. My current mission is to replace the existing code for the mobile menu with my own creation. The problem lies in locating the file where the original code is stored. Can anyone offer a solution to this puzzle?

Your assistance is greatly appreciated!

Answer №1

My go-to method for searching through files is using file-seek. Simply download the theme file and begin your search.

I hope this tool proves to be useful for you.

Answer №3

Appreciate the support everyone, the advice given was incredibly helpful. To resolve the issue, I decided to develop a distinct PHP file for the modal and incorporate it into my header file using the include command. This way, it is automatically loaded on every page and seems to be functioning well. I trust that this solution could benefit others facing a similar challenge.
