I am attempting to store a file using Windows-1255 Encoding

I am currently utilizing the fs.writefile method, but I am having trouble saving it in ANSI1255 encoding. The file is originally UTF-8 encoded.

  const encodedData = windows1255.encode(doc);

This solution is not proving effective for me.
