Can you explain the connection between the cookies generated by the Cookie Class in Servlet and document.cookie in JavaScript?
document.cookie
is quite an interesting property:
When you retrieve its value, you get a large string containing all the cookies associated with the document stored by the browser. However, this format is not very user-friendly, as it only provides the cookie name and value without any additional details like expiration date or path information. Essentially, it's a list of name=value pairs separated by semicolons.
On the other hand, if you update its value, it either adds a new cookie or updates an existing one for the document in the browser. This updated information will be sent with subsequent requests to the server.
Essentially, it allows JavaScript to access the cookie data specific to that document, whether it originated from the server or was added through JavaScript.
