let d1 = new Date("05/20/2022 09:28:15")
let d2 = new Date("05/24/2022 12:38:25")
Can someone help me calculate the difference between these two dates?
Give this method a try.
Step - 1: Find the time gap between both dates
const initialDate = new Date("04/09/2022 06:16:49");
const finalDate = new Date("04/14/2022 12:49:29");
const difference = finalDate.getTime() - initialDate.getTime();
console.log(difference); // Shows 455560000 milliseconds
Step - 2: Convert milliseconds to seconds
let totalSeconds = difference / 1000; // Returns in seconds
Step - 3: Change seconds to Hours
const hours = parseInt( totalSeconds / 3600 ); // 3,600 seconds make an hour
totalSeconds = totalSeconds % 3600;
Step - 4: Transform Seconds into minutes
const minutes = parseInt( totalSeconds / 60 );
totalSeconds = totalSeconds % 60;
console.log(hours+":"+minutes+":"+totalSeconds)
