My issue revolves around linking my ng-view tag to an HTML fragment using its route, but I can't seem to figure out what's missing. Make sure to bootstrap angularjs by including the ng-app directive in the html tag:

Additionally, there is no need to include html, head, and body tags in your partial views (such as welcome-msg.html) since these are already included in the index.html file.
