As a beginner in vuejs, I am currently following the steps below to create my vue js app on my local system:

Step:

npm init vue@latest

Project is being created in ./VueDemo Done.

However, an error is being thrown in the console:

To resolve the issue, simply update your node to the most recent version, delete the node_modules folder, and then execute the npm install command once more.

None of the solutions provided above worked for me. Even though I ensured that I had the most up-to-date version of Node and NPM installed, I still encountered the same error. However, I was able to resolve the issue by running the following command in the terminal or CMD:

After investigating further, it appears that the error was caused by a missing type declaration for Node.js in my project.

npm install @types/node --save-dev
