Facing an error with Angular.js

In my current project, I am faced with the task of uploading weather data from an .xls file to an SQL database. This is my first experience working with AngularJS, so I followed a tutorial and everything appeared to be running smoothly.

Here is my code:

<head>
<title>.: Import Data with AngularJS :.</title>
<meta charset="utf-8" />
<script type="text/javascript"
src="C:\Users\Bryan\source\repos\Weather\weather\Scripts\jquery-
1.10.2.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript"
src="C:\Users\Bryan\source\repos\Weather\weather\Scripts\angular.min.js">
</script>

<script type="text/javascript"
src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/angular.js/1.4.8/angular-
route.min.js"
<script type="text/javascript"
src="C:\Users\Bryan\source\repos\Weather\weather\Scripts\bootstrap.min.js">
</script>
<link rel="stylesheet"
href="https://maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/bootstrap/3.3.7/css/bootstrap.min.cs
s">
<script type="text/javascript"
src="C:\Users\Bryan\source\repos\Weather\weather\Scripts\ImportData.js">
</script>

<script type="text/javascript"
src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/xlsx/0.11.5/xlsx.full.min.js">
</script>
<script type="text/javascript"
src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/xlsx/0.11.5/jszip.js"></script>

Despite initial success, I started encountering errors:

ImportData.html:7 GET http://localhost:9000/Content/bootstrap.min.css
net::ERR_ABORTED

I've come across information stating that bootstrap and angular might conflict, but even after removing bootstrap, the error persists. Any insights on where the issue lies? Thank you in advance.

Answer №1

The browser is unable to locate your files in the specified locations. To resolve this issue, consider using relative paths such as "../../ImportData.js". Additionally, an injector module error indicates that the Angular file is missing and its corresponding module cannot access the required libraries.

You may also want to update all file paths accordingly. The error related to http://localhost:9000/Content/bootstrap.min.css with a net::ERR_ABORTED message could be due to internet connectivity issues or firewall restrictions. Consider changing 'http' to 'https' to address this problem.

Please explore these solutions, as it seems to be a matter of resolving file path issues specifically.

Answer №2

One issue arises from attempting to load resources directly from your local computer. Consider using relative paths, which can help resolve this problem. Additionally, utilizing a base URL in your HTML can provide greater control over the base URL for all requests originating from your application.
