Expression validation in AngularJS is a powerful tool for ensuring that

Attempting to implement input validation using an Angular expression because validation data will be sourced from the database.

Attempting the following code:

controller

    vm.key="ng-required"
    vm.value="true"

html

<input  type="text" name="field" ng-model="name" {{vm.key}}="{{vm.value}}" >

However, this does not produce any changes.

Answer №1

Instead of using the {{}} directive to dynamically create attributes (which won't work), I recommend a different approach for validation. You can utilize Angular's built-in directives like ng-minlength, ng-maxlength, ng-required, etc., which accept expressions as attribute values.

For example, you could use something like:

ng-required="vm.value"
