In the latest version of the master branch, also known as upcoming 0.3.0, I implemented a cleaner approach by decoupling the logic. The raycaster component now solely handles the raycasting functionality, while the cursor component relies on the raycaster to add events and states to mimic a cursor. Basically, the cursor is a specialized use case of the raycaster.
If we need to customize the raycaster for the cursor, we simply modify the raycaster component itself.
