Excessive recursion in MooTools causing issues with Google Maps integration

Hello, I'm currently facing an issue with my WordPress plugin. Whenever Mootools is included, Google Maps are not displaying due to "too much recursion" error. Here is a snippet of the code for reference:

Any suggestions or workarounds for this inconvenience would be greatly appreciated!

Answer №1

To prevent iterating over inherited members, it is recommended to structure your for-in loops as follows:

for (let key in object) {
    if (object.hasOwnProperty(key)) {
     //...
    }
}

Answer №2

Discovered the solution!

modified:

for (i in points) { ... }

to

for (i=0; i < points.length; i++) { ... }

and suddenly everything started working.. though I'm clueless about the reason behind it.
