Establish a protected parameter within the Google Analytics tracking code

I'm attempting to enable secure=true for Google Analytics cookies: utma, utmb, utmc, utmz, utmv y utmx similar to how I set it in a Rails app using:

cookies[:web] = {:value => 'XXXXXXXX', :secure => true }

Do I need to make modifications to the following Google Analytics Tracking Code? Is this achievable?

<script type="text/javascript">
    var _gaq = _gaq || [];
    _gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-XXXXXXX']);
    _gaq.push(['_trackPageview']);
    (function() {
      var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true;
      ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ? 'https://ssl' : 'http://www') + '.google-analytics.com/ga.js';
      var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0];   s.parentNode.insertBefore(ga, s);
    })();
  </script>

I don't believe there is a need to modify the Google Analytics Tracking Code.
