Error in Nuxt build due to missing core-js dependencies in ./node_modules/bootstrap-vue/:variouspath

After working on my nuxt.js project, I encountered some less-than-friendly error messages. Despite performing a clean install by deleting package.lock and node_modules, as well as installing core-js@2 and @babel/runtime-corejs2, the errors persist.

Answer №1

Run npm install core-js@2 @babel/runtime-corejs2 to resolve the problem.

This solution should help you overcome the issue.

Answer №2

Encountered the same issue during a CI build today. Resolved it by realizing that the problem stemmed from using node version 6. Switching to version 9 resolved the issue.

While I'm not well-versed in Nuxt syntax, I recommend considering an upgrade. In my case, all it took was updating:

image: node:6

to

image: node:9

for my docker image.

In the provided source, it states that you can achieve the desired outcome by running "npm run serve" from the root folder instead of the src folder.
