Error in Internet Explorer when attempting to close a Fancybox iframe that plays a YouTube video

Even the FancyApps page itself contains the error mentioned below. If you visit using Internet Explorer 9, for example, follow these steps: Go to Internet Options > Advanced > Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer). Then click on the YouTube (iframe)-link and close the movie. You'll see the following error message displayed:

Line: 1 Error: '_flash_removeCallback' is undefined

Any suggestions on how to prevent this error from occurring? Thank you in advance!

If you're experiencing an error while trying to stop a YouTube video by removing the iframe html, you can consider implementing a different approach. Instead of completely emptying the div element containing the video, you can simply wrap the iframe in a div and refresh its source when needed. If you wish to hide the video, you can do so without removing it entirely.

For example:

$('#youTube iframe').attr('src', $('#youTube iframe').attr('src'));
$('#youTube').hide();

This code snippet can replace:

$('#youTube').html("");

In your HTML:

<div id='youTube'>
<iframe width='640' height='390' src='http://www.youtube.com/embed/VIDEO_ID' frameborder='0' allowfullscreen></iframe>
</div>

I hope this alternative method proves helpful.
