Eliminate the pull-to-refresh feature in Safari browser on React Native applications

Hi there! I recently created an app with react native. However, when using Safari browser and trying to pull the page down, a refresh loader appears. I would like to disable this feature in the Safari browser. Any suggestions on how to remove the pull to refresh loader would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I stumbled upon this solution to the issue which appears to be effective (at least temporarily).

In order for react native to benefit from this workaround, one could implement the following steps (even though it may not be the most elegant solution):

export default function App(): ReactElement {
   // Quick fix to disable mobile safari pull-to-refresh feature https://stackoverflow.com/a/70579685/1063714
   document.getElementsByTagName("html")[0].style.overflow = "hidden";
   // ... your app-specific code here
   return (
        {/* ... Place your application content here */ }
   );
}
