Display the current page as it appears in AngularJS

I attempted to utilize the ngPrint directive from https://github.com/gilf/ngPrint for printing purposes. However, when I print the page, the design collapses entirely. Is there a solution to maintain the page layout when printing? Please note that Angular Material is used for the pages.

Answer №1

Below is a suggested code snippet that you can use:

function printContent() {
  var content = document.getElementById('#content').innerHTML;
  var popupWindow = window.open('', '_blank', 'width=500,height=500');
  popupWindow.document.open();
  popupWindow.document.write('<html><head><link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="" /></head><body onload="window.print()">' + content + '</body></html>');
  popupWindow.document.close();
}
