I found this resource very helpful in grasping the implementation of the @update:page and @update:fromPage attributes in v-calendar. With these attributes, I was able to display a list of the month and year while navigating through the calendar.

Answer №2

By examining the VDatePicker component, you'll notice that the month is contained within a span element with the class 'v-title'. Follow the steps below to ensure you retrieve it correctly

  • Add an event listener to your VDatePicker element

    <VDatePicker      @click="handleMonthChange" />

  • Next, bind the function

    setTimeout(() => {

    let month = document.getElementsByClassName('vc-title')[0].innerHTML

    console.log( month.split(' ')[0].replace('','') ) }, 500);

Remember, the setTimeout function is crucial as we require a delay before assigning it

Answer №3

To retrieve the date selected by the user, utilize the v-date-picker with the mode set to 'range'. This feature is included in the v-calendar wrapper. Implement the user's selected date using v-model to enable specific adjustments when the date is modified.

<v-date-picker
  mode='range'
  v-model='range'
/>
