Cordova: Android target not found during installation avdmanager: Failed command result with exit code 1

Currently, I am facing an issue while working with cordova. Even after installing Android Studio, SDK, and meeting all necessary requirements, I encountered the following error:

https://i.sstatic.net/WgQ8J.png

All solutions that I came across suggested adding JAVA_HOME and ANDROID_HOME to environment variables, as well as including the paths of tools, tools/bin, and platform-tools, which I have already done: https://i.sstatic.net/rtK1x.png Despite taking these steps, the error persists. I am unsure about what further actions to take :(

Operating System: Ubuntu 18.04

Answer №1

It appeared that setting java home in /etc/environment was also necessary, like this: JAVA_HOME="/usr/lib/jvm/java-8-openjdk-amd64"

With that adjustment made, the issue has been successfully resolved:)
