<body ng-app>
<div>
{{Hello World!}}
</div>

<script src="js/bootstrap.min.js"></script>
</body>
</html>

script.js

if(typeof angular == 'undefined' )
{
alert("not working");
}
else
{
alert("good");
}

I receive a successful alert that says "good," despite the presence of

{{Hello World!}}

Why isn't the binding functioning as expected? I believed it should function automatically. I am utilizing AngularJS 1.2.16 by the way.

Answer №1

All of the scripts provided are effective, but there is a crucial step missing in initializing your angular application.

Make sure to include the ng-app directive within the html tag.

<html ng-app>

Additionally, the phrase "Hello World" should be enclosed in quotation marks to be recognized as a string.

{{"Hello World!"}}

Answer №2

Check out this demonstration:

script.js

let testApp = angular.module('MyTestApp', []);

index.html file:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html ng-app="MyTestApp">
<head>
