Assistance required in designing a unique shape using Three.js

https://i.sstatic.net/pmHP2.png

Hello there! I could use some assistance with replicating the 2D shape shown in the image above using three.js. Specifically, I'm encountering some difficulty with incorporating the subtle curvature seen on the inner left and outer right edges of the shape. If anyone could offer a code snippet or some pointers on how to achieve this, I would be extremely grateful. Thank you in advance!

It appears that you are in need of a ring-shaped component.

After exploring the Three.js documentation, I came across the RingGeometry feature, which allows for easy configuration of a ring geometry between specific angles.
This seems like a suitable solution for your situation if you aim to create symmetrical curves on both sides of your plane.

By experimenting with the visualization options in three.js, I was able to achieve a shape similar to the one shown in this image.

Therefore, the geometry setup would involve something like this:

var geometry = new THREE.RingGeometry( 9, 16, 32, 32, thetaStart = 2, thetaLength = 1);
