Assessing the effectiveness of Internet Explorer's performance

Can you help me decipher the insights provided by the performance/profiling tab on Chrome or Internet Explorer? I'm aiming to identify any potential memory leaks or architectural weaknesses in my application. While the loading time of my application is seamless on Chrome and Firefox, there's a significant disparity when it comes to Internet Explorer. For instance, a page that loads in just 3 seconds on Chrome and Firefox can take up to 23 seconds to load on Internet Explorer.

Answer №1

My recommendation is to initiate a new profiling session from the memory tab and capture a snapshot of it.

Subsequently, attempt to import another snapshot and compare the two.

Typically, the developer tools in IE and Edge offer comparable functionalities.

I attempted to locate documentation for IE developer tools with basic information.

You may want to consult the following link which pertains to Edge for additional insights.
