Angular app functionality restrictions by chrome extension

Currently, I am developing a Chrome extension that adds a responsive grid over my Angular application. However, I have encountered an issue where the events are disabled once the extension is enabled and only return after refreshing the page. Has anyone else faced a similar problem like this before?

It's always a challenge to determine the exact solution without fully understanding your unique HTML structure, but here is a possible suggestion:

  • After making changes to a node, make sure to compile it for scope so that directives can function properly. Since you are working on a hosted page and may not have access to its scope, proceed with caution.

  • There is a risk of losing your directives if your extension appends another version of Angular to the hosted page (along with other potential conflicts and resolutions for this specific issue).
